Services

Our services follow Common Worship format.

Our formal service begins at 10:30 am. Before this a number of our members gather at 10 am for prayers. At each service there are normally between 60-70 people in attendance which includes 15-20 children and young people.

Communion is usually celebrated every 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. On non-communion Sundays we have a Worship and Word service that is focused mainly on the teaching and preaching of God’s word, prayer and worship. At the end of each service we have a prayer ministry team made up of people who are called to pray for others. The normal length of our time of worship together each Sunday morning is about two hours.

After each service we usually spend some time socialising over tea and coffee and this time of fellowship is also vital to the life of the parish.

Young people’s groups meet every Sunday morning during school term: They are:

  • King’s club for 3 1/2 years old up to 11
  • Pathfinders for 11 - 17 year olds
  • We also have a cheche for the babies

Our young people arrange and lead the Mother’s day service, our Harvest thanksgiving service and during advent they also lead our Christingle service.  Every 5th sunday of the month is also dedicated to the children and young people.
